Art/Memory Vacation journal

I made this art/memory journal on our family vacation in CA this year. I'd always wanted to make one and really enjoyed working on it each night after our fun day.

What I did was a watercolor picture of the highlight of each day on the pages w/tabs. And journaled about the day on the page next to it.
I really enjoyed reminiscing about the memories made each day and recording them so I can remember every time I look back through this little memory book!

These are just some of my fave highlights. I'm looking forward to adding the photos soon!

I hope you enjoyed taking a peek and maybe even got inspired to start one of your own!

That is so fun! I love the water color pictures you did. What a fun way to remember your trip. Where did you get the adorable polka dot tape?

Thanks Sarah! I had so much fun making it! I got the tape on vacation, it's Washi tape. It's really in right now you can find it in any crafty stores. http://www.downtowntape.com/ Here's a link to a place that sells a bunch of colors for cheep! :)

I really like it, but I am sure I will find some at CKC. And bakers twine too! I have so much scrapbook stuff that I have promised myself I won't buy anything (besides adhesive) except a few things at CKC this year since the scrap room/office is going to be turned into a bedroom. I am limiting myself to 1 tub of scrapbooking stuff when we change the room so I have a lot of stuff to use up in the mean time!

WOW Sarah! Are you getting rid of a ton of stuff or just putting most of it away?? That will be a challenge! :)

Such a cute idea! I wish I had the patience to make something like this. All my photos are just wasting away on my external harddrive.
